Technical Lead; SAP

The Technical Lead will provide architecture, design, and subject matter expertise (SME) during both the sales and delivery phases of complex SAP technical solutions. This role is critical to the successful upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4

HANA, including additional system enhancements. The ideal candidate is a senior, experienced professional with strong leadership capability and hands‑on SAP technical expertise, preferably with Public Sector experience.

• Lead the technical architecture and solution design for complex SAP landscapes.
• Provide SME input during pre‑sales, solution, and delivery phases.
• Design and oversee implementations involving one or more of the following technologies:
  • SAP Portal
  • SAP Fiori
  • SAP UI5
  • SAP Mobile Platform (SMP)
  • SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services (SCPms)
  • SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII)
  • SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME)
  • SAP Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • SAP Leonardo (IoT, Blockchain, Machine Learning, etc.)
• Drive cross‑module technical design, including integrations, security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical delivery leadership, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives related to ECC to S/4
  
  HANA migration.

• 8+ years’ experience in SAP technical roles, with senior‑level responsibility.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP architecture and solution design.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery teams.
• Experience with SAP ECC to S/4
  
  HANA upgrades.
• Solid understanding of integrations, security, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Relevant SAP Technology Certifications.

• Public Sector experience.
• Candidates based in Cape Town.
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise SAP environments.
