Role DescriptionWe’re hiring a Google Ads Specialist to support paid acquisition across the Google ecosystem, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, You Tube, and Display.
This is a hands‑on execution role for a performance‑focused marketer who enjoys being deep in‑platform. You’ll be responsible for building, managing, and optimising Google Ads campaigns day‑to‑day, working closely with strategy, creative, CRO, and analytics teams to improve efficiency and scale performance.
This role is ideal for someone who prefers campaign execution and optimisation.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
- Build, launch, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, You Tube, and Display.
- Manage day‑to‑day account execution, including keyword research, bid adjustments, budget pacing, and negative keyword management.
- Set up and maintain campaign structures, feeds, audiences, and conversion tracking to ensure clean, scalable accounts.
- Execute structured testing across ad copy, creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and placements.
- Monitor daily and weekly performance in Google Ads, GA4, and attribution tools (e.g. Northbeam) to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Collaborate with creative and CRO teams to brief new ad assets and landing pages based on performance insights.
- Support performance reporting by surfacing learnings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with Google Ads product updates and best practices, applying learnings directly within accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, You Tube, Display, and Performance Max.
- Strong understanding of DTC and e‑commerce funnels, with a focus on CPA, ROAS, MER, and RPS metrics.
- Proven experience executing both lead‑generation and e‑commerce campaigns; agency experience strongly preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including event tracking and conversion setup.
- Experience with audience segmentation, creative optimisation, and bid strategy execution.
- Comfortable working closely with creative teams and translating performance data into clear briefs and optimisations.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
- Self‑motivated and comfortable executing within established strategies and frameworks.
- Bonus:
Experience with You Tube media buying and/or traditional TV extensions.
