Software Engineer ; Typescript and ReactJS

We are currently looking for a technically proficient, self-motivated and ambitious Software Engineer
within our Support Engineering team. This position requires a combination of basic to intermediate
programming skills, namely Typescript and React

JS.

For this role, the focus will be more on troubleshooting issues where you need to be able to think on
your feet, finding the best possible solution to solve the problem for our clients and implementing
new change requests.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Type Script and React
• Experience with website troubleshooting
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs

Responsibilities:

• Solve problems by connecting the dots until you find the root cause of the problem within
  the client's digital solution
• Assist on integrating our Kurtosys-apps into client sites where the requirement is a bit on the
  “special” and complex side as we need to account for various factors and business rules to be
  kept in place for some clients
• Understand the digital world of web in terms of how HTML, CSS, API calls, JavaScript and
  other scripts on the page plays a role to retrieve data and present a web page or digital
  factsheet
• Work with a wide range of systems, stakeholders, processes, and technologies to own and
  solve the business requirement
• Provide creative options on issues raised by the rest of the Support Engineering team
• Participate in Knowledge Sharing sessions and train and upskill with fellow team members

Education and Training:

• Basic to intermediate experience in HTML and CSS3 essential
• Basic to intermediate experience in JavaScript essential
• Basic to intermediate experience in Type Script preferable
• Software development background preferable
• Agile training preferable
