Position: Principal SAP Real Estate Management (REM) Functional Analyst

Job Description

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Principal SAP Real Estate Management (REM) Functional Analyst to support the planning, configuration, implementation, and integration of SAP REM and related modules within a Local Government setting. This role demands strong technical knowledge, business analysis capability, and hands-on SAP REM implementation experience.
Core Competencies

SAP REM configuration and system set-up

Analysis and solution integration across SAP modules

Functional design and project execution

Documentation of business requirements

Blueprint creation including process diagrams and solution design

Functional specification compilation

System testing and user acceptance testing

End-user training material development and delivery

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

SAP Real Estate Management (REM) Certification

Mandatory Experience

8+ Years of SAP Experience

Multiple full-cycle SAP REM implementations

Additional Requirements

Experience in Local Government will be highly beneficial

Working knowledge of:

SAP REFX to GIS Integration

SAP Land Use Management (LUM)

SAP Case Management

Ability to clearly document and translate functional requirements

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Residing in Cape Town is strongly recommended
Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills

Ability to work independently and lead initiatives

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Team player with project delivery mindset
