About the RoleAs a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborating with development teams to ensure successful implementation. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial services landscape, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
RequiredSkills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, FTI Business Analyst Diploma or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking, financial investment, or insurance industries.
- Knowledge of FICA regulations.
- Background in Conduct Risk or Credit Card Compliance.
- Experience with Power
BI, SQL, C#, MySQL, Postgre
SQL, Oracle, SOAP. - Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Elicit and analyze business requirements through various techniques, including workshops, interviews, and document analysis.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Develop and maintain process maps, data flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
