We provide on‑demand services such as ride‑hailing and last‑mile delivery and are now introducing financial services to help our users pay, save, and borrow digitally.

As part of our expansion effort, we are looking for an engineering manager to lead our team of financial services developers and be part of our Europe tech hub. You will be based out of Berlin or Paris and will lead a tech team supporting Yassir’s product development and delivery. You will own and build large‑scale systems and micro‑services, designing, developing, and delivering powerful applications in a highly dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has outstanding technical skills, is hands‑on, confident leading tech teams, and thrives in high‑growth settings.

• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Oversee the development and delivery of high‑quality software products that meet business requirements and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – product managers, designers, and stakeholders – to define product requirements and develop roadmaps.
• Continuously improve our development process and methodologies, driving innovation and increasing efficiency.
• Ensure that the team adheres to best practices for software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Experience as an engineering manager or tech lead at an engineering department.
• Strong technical expertise in software engineering, including architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Good understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, able to inspire and motivate team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality software products on time and within budget.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin, REST & RESTful APIs, microservices architecture and GCP is a plus.
• Experience managing remote teams; highly organized, creative, critical thinker.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment; experience in a rapidly growing company in the mobility or on‑demand services space is a plus.
