SUMMARY
The HR & Finance Assistant will support both the Human Resources and Finance functions, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across employee administration, payroll support, and basic accounting activities. This role offers a clear career progression plan for the successful candidate and is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working across disciplines and taking ownership of their work. The position requires a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Proven experience with Sage Payroll is essential, with exposure to Xero Accounting considered advantageous.
- Manage employee records
- HR-related queries and policy support
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Employee benefits and manage leave tracking
- HR Compliance
- Maintain financial records
- Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and audit preparation
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience using Sage Payroll
- Familiarity with Xero Accounting will be advantageous
- Experience in HR administration and/or finance support roles
Finance or Hr related degree
