We’re looking for an HR Officer / Generalist to join our client’s growing business in the facilities and security services industry
, based in Milnerton, Western Cape
.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys working across the full HR spectrum, and can balance compliance with employee engagement. If you’re a proactive HR professional who can manage day‑to‑day HR operations while supporting management with people strategies, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.
A Grade 12 Certificate
, Human Resources Diploma
, and a valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle are mandatory requirements.
- Manage the full HR function across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and grievance procedures in line with labour legislation
- Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, EE, and other relevant employment laws and regulations
- Oversee payroll input, leave administration, and employee record management
- Support line managers with HR policies, coaching, and best practice guidance
- Drive HR initiatives such as wellness, engagement, and training interventions
- Prepare HR reports, maintain HR systems, and contribute to audits and compliance checks
- Assist with Employment Equity submissions and Workplace Skills Plans
- 2 – 4+ years’ proven HR generalist experience, ideally within services, security, or facilities industries
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices
- Relevant HR qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Afrikaans or other African languages advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (required for business travel)
- Clear criminal record
- Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and conflict management skills
- High attention to detail and a solutions‑focused mindset
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Permanent position with provident fund
- Competitive package: R240 000 – R300 000 CTC per annum
