Overview

Job Title: Payroll Clerk

Hire Resolves client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join their team as a Payroll Clerk in Strand, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis

Ensure accuracy of all payroll data, including hours worked, taxes, and deductions

Prepare and distribute paychecks or electronic deposits to employees

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues

Assist with payroll reporting and analysis

Maintain confidentiality of payroll information

Work closely with HR department to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records

Requirements:

Advanced working knowledge of Sage Pastel VIP Payroll (non-negotiable)

Knowledge and experience working with ERS Biometric clocking system will be advantageous.

Grade 12

Minimum three years payroll experience

Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes and procedures

Detailed knowledge of statutory requirements . PAYE, UIF, SDL, COIDA

Good understanding of and working knowledge of all the appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSHA,

COID, EEA)

Computer literate with strong MS Office skills

Own transport

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
