Talent Manager, Tech / IT Recruiter
Location: South Africa (Cape Town or Johannesburg)
We are seeking a Senior Tech Talent Partner to join our dynamic team, supporting a portfolio of innovative, high-growth tech clients.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying, engaging, and securing top tech talent, building long-term pipelines, and delivering market insights that shape hiring strategies. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, combining research expertise with relationship-building to create an exceptional candidate experience.
We’re looking for a proactive, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of sourcing scarce skills, and takes pride in connecting the right talent with the right opportunity.
What You’ll Be DoingCrafting compelling and detailed job advertisements to attract top-tier talent.
Collaborating with clients to qualify job specifications and ensure alignment with their needs.
Meeting and exceeding deadlines by delivering on job specifications effectively.
Utilizing various online portals for proactive candidate sourcing. ️
Screening candidates meticulously to ensure suitability for specified roles.
Conducting interviews to assess candidate fit and potential.
Assisting candidates in preparing for interviews and providing valuable guidance.
Conducting post-interview debriefs with candidates.
Managing and ensuring the completion of background checks.
Presenting candidates with well-documented job offers.
Following up with placed candidates to ensure successful onboarding.
Engaging with existing clients without the need for business development.
Handling administrative tasks efficiently within our recruitment system.
4+ years of experience in Tech Recruitment.
Previous agency experience, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated sourcing capability and confidence using modern talent tools.
Ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
A curious mindset with a proven track record of utilizing various sourcing platforms.
A positive attitude and the tenacity to overcome challenges.
