Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, including reference verifications and required documentation.
- Support the induction process to ensure seamless onboarding of new employees.
- Collect and verify employee timesheets, leave records, and payroll inputs.
- Assist in payroll processing and help resolve payroll queries.
- Support the administration of employee benefits (medical aid, provident funds, UIF submissions).
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
- Disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with South African labor laws, including BCEA, LRA, and EEA.
- Assist in identifying training needs and scheduling learning and development programs.
- Maintain accurate training records and track employee development progress.
- Prepare HR reports on attendance, turnover, and compliance.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of employee records.
- Support employee wellness initiatives and company engagement activities.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Knowledge of HR practices in the BPO industry (advantageous).
- Experience with payroll processing will be beneficial.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of South African labor legislation and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work fully onsite Monday - Friday US hours.
