Overview
We are looking for someone with talent, a sense of humour and a sparkling personality!
Experience & Requirements- Relevant hospitality qualification;
- At least 1 year experience in a hotel environment;
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Afrikaans and preferably a 3rd language;
- Minimum Requirements Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and professional - Physically able to perform cleaning duties
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or short-stay accommodation (preferred but not essential)
- Time management and efficiency
- Ability to work under pressure during peak check-out/check-in periods
- Positive, service-oriented attitude
- High standard of cleanliness and presentation

Clean and prepare short-stay rooms in line with Campus Key standards
Complete departure cleans, same-day turnarounds, and deep cleans as scheduled
Ensure rooms are ready within required turnaround times
Ensure all rooms are spotless, hygienic, and correctly set up for incoming guests
Replace linen, towels, and amenities as required
Identify and report any damage, maintenance issues, or missing items immediately
Collect and deliver used linen to the laundry area
Collect clean linen and ensure correct placement and presentation
Minimise linen loss or damage through correct handling
Follow daily room schedules and priorities issued by the Housekeeping Manager
Assist with bulk deep-cleaning or reinstatement activities when required
Support housekeeping and laundry teams during peak operational periods
Adhere to Campus Key hygiene, health & safety, and access control policies
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely
Maintain professional conduct within occupied buildings
Communicate room status updates to the Housekeeping Manager or designated channel
Escalate cleaning or access challenges promptly
Work collaboratively with laundry, facilities, and front-of-house teams
