Director of Sales - Luxury Hotels

Overview

This role is pivotal in launching and positioning three new lodges in the Greater Kruger National Park - including the Taj Lion Kings Bush Lodge, Taj Lion Kings River Lodge, and the Taj Lion Kings Hilltop Tented Camp - as well as upcoming properties in Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Botswana, and Zambia.

• Proven experience in luxury high‑end hotels reserves and lodge sales within Sub Saharan Africa is essential.
• Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management.
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Creative thinker with a flair for original ideas and strategic execution.
• Ability to work under pressure, pursue leads, and overcome obstacles.
• Office based role.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Previous experience in a similar senior sales role with a minimum of 5 years in senior sales roles.
