Guest Relations Agent - Luxury Hotel Group - Camps Bay

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check‑in and check‑out
• Answer guest questions and handle concerns in a calm and professional way
• Assist with billing queries and explain hotel services clearly
• Answer phones, manage emails, and handle bookings using Semper
• Keep guest records updated, including preferences and special requests
• Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs
• Arrange dining reservations (via Dineplan), spa bookings, and excursions
• Provide information on local attractions and events in Cape Town
• Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Handle wake‑up calls, in‑room dining requests, and other guest needs

• High school certificate or equivalent (hospitality qualification is an advantage)
• At least 1 year of experience in a guest‑facing hospitality role
• Experience in a 5‑star or luxury environment is preferred
• Experience using the Semper system is strongly preferred
• Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
• Professional appearance and friendly manner
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Well organised and able to work under pressure
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Travel experience (local or international) is an advantage
• Own transport preferred
• Between 1 - 3 Years
