Debtors Administrator

Job Overview

A well‑established property management and construction company based in Parow is looking for a detail‑oriented Debtors Administrator to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the debtors book, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Manage and maintain the full debtors function
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and collections
• Reconcile debtor accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and send monthly statements and invoices
• Allocate payments and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with clients regarding account queries and payments
• Assist with credit control and aging reports
• Work closely with the finance team and property managers

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a Debtors / Credit Control role
• Experience in property management or construction industry highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of debtors, reconciliations and collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Financial qualification or relevant bookkeeping course
• Experience working with property management software or accounting systems

• Salary between R18,000 – R20,000 per month
