Finance Process Analyst Location: Cape Town CBD (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Permanent
The Opportunity (this is not a CA(SA) role) We’re currently looking for a Finance Process Analyst, a role for someone who thrives in complex, data-driven environments, enjoys optimising financial processes, and wants to make a measurable impact across a scaled operation.
This role sits within a high-volume, multi-party financial ecosystem and focuses on improving process efficiency, financial visibility, controls, and automation. You’ll work closely with finance, operations, and technology teams to design smarter ways of working and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse end-to-end finance processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities
• Design and implement improved future-state processes and controls
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and workflow maps
• Analyse financial data, trends, and variances to generate actionable insights
• Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Support month-end, year-end, and ad-hoc financial analysis
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes
• Partner with technology teams on system improvements and integrations
• Engage stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or similar
• 3–5+ years’ experience in finance process analysis, business analysis, or financial transformation
• Experience in high-volume, transactional, or platform-based environments
• Strong understanding of financial controls and risk frameworks
• Advanced Excel and solid financial modelling skills
• Experience with process mapping and data visualisation tools
• ERP, SQL, and automation exposure is advantageous
