Part‑Time Portfolio and Compliance Administrator at Ikamva Labantu

This is a hybrid 8‑hour role per week, with quarterly (or as required) contact meetings with the Chairman of ILET. A market related remuneration package is offered. The Part‑Time Portfolio and Compliance Administrator is a critical support role responsible for the consistent administration, compliance, and governance of the Ikamva Labantu Empowerment Trust (ILET) and its underlying investment portfolio. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong financial literacy, and discretion in handling highly confidential corporate and investment information.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Law.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an investment environment, corporate finance, compliance, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a Trust, Endowment, or Investment Holding structure.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail:
    Essential for managing regulatory submissions and investment records.
  • Financial Literacy:
    Ability to understand and interpret cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, and audit requirements.
  • Corporate Compliance:
    Proven knowledge of South African regulatory requirements (CIPC, SARS/Tax, B‑BBEE, Trust governance).
  • Discretion and Integrity:
    Absolute requirement for handling confidential financial and corporate information.
  • Communication:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with the Board, auditors, and investment partners.
