About the job:

Candidates will be trained in advanced transcription techniques, using proprietary Pixelogic software, to create subtitles and dubbing scripts for use in the localization industry.

Qualifications:

Testing process

All candidates will be required to complete an international industry standard transcription test and proofing test. The tests are designed to highlight your English grammar, spelling, punctuation and listening skills. They are also designed to showcase your feel for the type of tasks required for the position. The purpose of the test is not to test your knowledge of the software or technical specifications of subtitling.

It is a prerequisite for consideration.

Training

Successful editors will be given training by our experienced team and approved by a US specialist before beginning work on live projects. The training and initial experience portion will be completed during a paid training period. Once we have established the groundwork, permanent positions will be made available to all editors able to meet the performance requirements.

Training takes roughly 8 weeks, with a further 4-8 weeks of live work before being considered fully trained.
