Electricity Generation and Distribution

ENERGY Professional Officer-Internal System Support

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant post graduate technical experience with exposure to a technical equipment engineering/operational environment and associated information management.
• A high degree of computer literacy (programming experience an advantage).
• Proficient in use of SAP Plant Maintenance module (or similar CMMS system), especially advanced Preventive Maintenance functionality and/or Quality Management functionality.
• Advanced Excel / similar data analysis / visualisation tools / MS Power BI.
• Driver’s license:
  Code B

• Required to work outside normal working hours as demanded by the exigencies of service.
• Required to use own transport for which an appropriate Transport Allowance is payable.

• Support and assist the PPO: EAM Planned Work with day-to-day activities that relate to the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of Electricity Generation and Distribution’s EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) system with a focus on preventive maintenance master data, operational support and KPI reporting.
• Maintain defined master data elements and uphold master data governance standards related to electricity infrastructure assets in order to ensure that master data is well governed and that its quality and reliability is continually improved.
