Mid-Senior Data Engineer CPT Hybrid

ENVIRONMENT:

PERFORM complex data transformations and optimizations as your expertise as a Mid-Senior Data Engineer is sought by a dynamic Education Specialist to fill a 1-Year Contract role. You will design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts while building and maintaining data warehouses and data marts. The successful incumbent must possess a suitable IT tertiary qualification with 5-10 years Data Analysis/Engineering experience including a solid understanding of relational database concepts and normalization and performance tuning and indexing.

You will also need to be proficient with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI & SQL.

DUTIES:

• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), stored procedures, and scripts.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy across all systems.
• Perform complex data transformations and optimizations.
• Support reporting teams with high-performance queries.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in database design, modeling, and tuning.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications -

• Relevant IT tertiary qualifications.

Experience/Skills –

• 5-10 Years Data Analysis/Engineering experience
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.
• Experience in performance tuning and indexing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Power BI.
• Experience with cloud-based SQL platforms.
