Overview
An industry-leading company situated in and around the Western Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Bridge Design Engineer to join their team.
The Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. You will have a say in how the world looks like, work in a fast-growing dynamic industry, contribute towards healthy economies and make a lasting positive impact to society.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead/Manage Bridge teamLead or support bid preparations and submissionsDesign Bridge and Civil Works Structural Engineering, including bridge hydrology and hydraulicsManage the design process of projectsProject Management and Quality Control Management as requiredReport writing as requiredContract administration, including the preparation of contract documentation, specifications and bill of quantitiesChecking of drawings and schedulesResource management of the bridge teamKey Requirements:
15 years and above as a Bridge Design EngineerBSc/BEng Engineering qualification (MSc will be an advantage)Professionally Registered with ECSADetailed knowledge of Finite Element Design Software such as Revit/Sofistik/Prokon/AutoCADExperience in design of feature bridges will be an advantageKnowledge of SANRAL processes will be an advantageAble to lead a design team and work under pressureAble to work unsupervised with efficient time managementEntrepreneurial with high business acumenHire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
