Systems Engineer - NOC - Remote, 12 Month Contract
As a Systems Engineer in our NOC, you'll monitor and maintain client infrastructure, applications, and security systems to ensure proactive incident response, operational stability, and reliable service delivery. Key responsibilities include processing alerts, troubleshooting incidents, generating reports, and collaborating with teams in a 24/7 environment.
Requirements- Experience in an IT MSP NOC role.
- ITIL mindset covering incident, request, and change management with strong SLA adherence.
- Hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server versions.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and PKI.
- VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Microsoft Exchange.
- N-Central and PRTG monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of SAN/NAS storage, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and packet shaping.
- Motivated self‑starter thriving under pressure, strong communicator with customer focus, organized team player with attention to detail.
- Veeam backup and replication with Rubrik for O365.
- Power Shell and Python scripting for automation.
- Linux server administration.
