Sales Engineer

Minimum Requirements Qualification and Experience
National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
Preferable 3 - 5 years’ experience within engineering or a technical environment.
Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power.
Driver’s License.
English spoken fluently and written.
Microsoft Office and CAD.
Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below
Developing and implementing business strategy in conjunction with management
Maintain and grow existing customers
On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the Branch Manager
Provide technical and service support to customers
Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards in accordance with HYDAC policies and ethics.
Increase sales and project quote intake and hit rate
Manage customer accounts
Travel locally and within SADC countries when required
Assist engineering with quoting, system design and commissioning.
Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets
Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing / sustain the HYDAC business.
Sales forecasting
Attend training courses.
