Is this you?

You’re a capable field technician with solid exposure to commercial solar and battery systems. You’re confident on‑site, comfortable working with EPCs and engineers, and take pride in professional client engagement. Fluent in Afrikaans and English, you communicate clearly in technical environments and represent the business well on‑site.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll support commissioning and post‑installation troubleshooting across commercial solar and storage systems, assisting with inverter configuration, battery integration and system optimisation. Working closely with EPCs and internal engineers, you’ll resolve on‑site issues and ensure installations perform reliably within demanding C&I environments. This is a field‑based role requiring practical competence and strong electrical understanding.

Where you’ll be doing it

Based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, you’ll support renewable energy projects nationally. Our client operates within the commercial and industrial renewable energy sector, delivering integrated solar and storage systems with a strong technical and engineering focus.

What you’ll need

2–3 years’ experience in commercial solar or storage systems with commissioning and troubleshooting exposure. Strong electrical knowledge is essential. You must be fluent in Afrikaans and English, well‑presented, client‑facing and willing to travel nationally.
