Overview
Description:
Hire Resolve is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join our Clients team in Cape Town or Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the building industry, with qualifications in civil engineering, building science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or Quantity Surveying (QS). However, potential candidates with less experience will also be considered.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic project at the intersection of building and industrial construction, with a focus on managing mechanical and electrical installations
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with architects, contractors to determine electrical needs and specificationsPreparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documentationPerforming electrical calculations and simulationsTesting and troubleshooting electrical systems and componentsEnsuring compliance with safety and quality standardsManaging project timelines and budgetsMentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and techniciansIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovation, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineeringStrong knowledge of electrical design principles and standardsExperience with electrical simulations and calculations softwareExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasksBenefits:
