Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Draughts person to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting structural engineers with drawing preparation, coordination, and maintaining drawing standards across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of various drawings, including layout plans, sections, elevations, and detailing.Develop conceptual layouts and design details.Review drawings prepared by junior draughtspersons to ensure adherence to company standards.Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.Perform clash detection and manage drawing registers.Prepare Revit models and provide general drawing office administration support as required.Requirements:
National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Grade 12).Minimum of 10 years’ experience in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting in the built environment.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structures, and Microsoft Office Suite.Certificate of Completion in Auto Desk Revit Structures is essential.Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codes relevant to structural design.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.Benefits:
