Job DescriptionHere is what you will be doing:
Technical Excellence- Contributes to the development of technical proposals.
- Develops design by gathering, correlating and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards.
- When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project models.
- Fully develops the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high‑quality outputs by following project timelines.
- Participates in the interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline models, drawings, reports and tender documents.
- Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered.
- Performs work under the agreed‑upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
- Coordinates with other Engineers as applicable for the design process’s continuity.
- Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of production for accuracy to design instructions. Coordinates with authorities for scheme approvals.
- Begins to participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain/defend work, etc.
- Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposals
- 4+ Years' experience after obtainment of Qualification
- Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering from an accredited University.
- Master of Science or Engineering advantageous.
- Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA.
- Proven experience in transportation planning studies, traffic analysis and modelling, as well as the design of transportation and traffic infrastructure.
- Familiarity with transport modelling software (e.g., PTV, SIDRA, Synchro) and GIS applications is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and effectively present findings.
- Capacity to deliver high quality work and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
