School Principal

As the Centre Manager, you will be the heart of our school. You will oversee daily operations, manage a dedicated team of educators, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.

• Leadership & Professionalism: Model a strong work ethic, uphold school philosophy, and foster a professional culture among staff and the community.
• People Management: Lead recruitment, conduct performance appraisals, plan weekly schedules, and mentor teachers in curriculum implementation.
• Parent Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for families, lead centre events, and publish monthly newsletters to build a strong school community.
• Health & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including conducting monthly fire drills and maintaining facilities.
• Marketing & Enrolment: Promote the centre through professional tours, maintain waitlists, and work to hit enrolment targets.
• Financial & Office Admin: Manage budget allocations, assist with payroll processing, and prepare the school for compliance inspections.

• Education: Grade 12 and a related Degree or Diploma.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing an ECD Centre or Educational Institution.
• Certification: Must be willing to obtain Health & Safety and First Aid certification within the first 3 months.

Preferred:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Business Management.
• Proven experience in a management role leading large teams.

• Absolute Ethics: You must be beyond reproach in dealings with parents, staff, and finances.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Whats App, Email, Excel, and Word.
• Communication: Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Resilience: The ability to remain positive and professional under pressure.
• Physicality: Ability to be active with children and move between classrooms/facilities as needed.
