the purpose of the job is: to support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic, administration and research objectives which include learning, teaching and assessment on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes according to a set syllabus; undertake projects, research and innovation; perform academic administration, contribute to curriculum development and design and curriculum renewal/improvement and to contribute to academic initiatives to enhance the learning, teaching and assessment environment.
jobknowledge, skills and experience
minimum requirements:
- a master's degree in public administration/public management/development management or any related discipline.
- an underpinning qualification in public administration/public management/development management or any related discipline.
- at least two (2) years full-time relevant lecturing experience in higher education environment.
- knowledge and experience of hybrid models of learning, teaching and assessment (face-to-face and online)
- lecturing to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the department.
- contributing towards academic initiatives undertaken by the department.
- assessment and academic administration.
- curriculum development and quality assurance.
- participate in the quality assurance activities of the department.
- building links with the public sector industry, other training providers and all relevant stakeholders.
- conducting research and supervising research projects in the advanced diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes.
