job purpose

the purpose of the job is: to support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic, administration and research objectives which include learning, teaching and assessment on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes according to a set syllabus; undertake projects, research and innovation; perform academic administration, contribute to curriculum development and design and curriculum renewal/improvement and to contribute to academic initiatives to enhance the learning, teaching and assessment environment.

knowledge, skills and experience

minimum requirements:

  • a master's degree in public administration/public management/development management or any related discipline.
  • an underpinning qualification in public administration/public management/development management or any related discipline.
  • at least two (2) years full-time relevant lecturing experience in higher education environment.
  • knowledge and experience of hybrid models of learning, teaching and assessment (face-to-face and online)

  • lecturing to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the department.
