The Opportunity

We are looking for a visionary and meticulous Junior Architect to join a dynamic team. This role is designed for a career-driven individual. You will have the opportunity to work across all architectural work stages, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence are maintained from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Lifecycle Involvement: Contribute actively across all SACAP work stages, ensuring seamless project progression.

Design & Documentation: Translate conceptual designs into high-quality technical documentation and detailed Revit models.

Technical Excellence: Maintain a strong focus on design development and detail-oriented documentation to ensure buildability.

Site Coordination: Assist with on-site inspections and coordination, liaising with contractors and consultants to resolve technical queries.

Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with senior principals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver creative, functional architectural solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Professional Status: Must be a SACAP-registered Professional Architect.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience within a reputable firm.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with BIM workflows is highly advantageous.

Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the SANS 10400 building regulations and architectural work stages.

Soft Skills: A creative mindset paired with rigorous attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
