Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Department, the Professional Quantity Surveyor will manage the following:

- Prepare and manage tenders, including pricing, documentation, and submission
- Conduct accurate measurements and take-offs from drawings and site information
- Perform full contract administration, including preparing contracts, tracking variations, and managing contractual obligations
- Compile and maintain detailed cost reports, ensuring projects remain within budget
- Monitor and control project costs from pre-contract through to final account
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist with procurement processes
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment certificates
- Identify, assess, and manage variations and cost implications
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure cost efficiency and project success
- Assist with financial forecasting and project cost planning

Qualifications

- BSc or BTech
- SACQSP professional registration (PrQS)
