Position: SITE AGENT / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Civil Engineering – Infrastructure & Services Projects Western Cape | Cape Peninsula
Our Client:
A well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is currently expanding operations and requires an experienced Site Agent / Construction Manager to take full responsibility for multiple civil infrastructure and services projects across the Western Cape.
This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to a disciplined construction professional who understands delivery, quality, programme, and cost control within civil services environments.

PROJECT EXPOSURE

- Civil Infrastructure Services
- Civil Services (roads, bulk earthworks, platforms)
- Sewer Works
- Water Reticulation Projects

Current Project geographical locations include:

- Cape Peninsula and surrounding Western Cape areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Full site management from establishment through to handover
- Programme planning, execution, and control
- Management of site teams, subcontractors, and plant
- Quality control in accordance with project specifications
- Health & Safety compliance (SHEQ)
- Cost control, progress reporting, and coordination with Engineers & QS
- Liaison with Clients, Consultants, and Local Authorities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 815+ years experience in civil construction / infrastructure
- Proven experience in civil services, sewer & water reticulation projects
- Strong leadership and site management capability
- Sound knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing, and site logistics
- Valid drivers licence
- Ability to work across multiple Western Cape project locations

REMUNERATION
650k - 1.2mil - Market-related salary package based on experience relative to previous packages earned
Company Bakkie (role dependent)
Long-term project pipeline with a stable contractor with a large order book
Compulsory Medical Aid and Pension Fund
ECSA and/or SACPCPM registration as Candidate OR PrCM essential
