Site Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the Cape Town,

· Supervise daily on-site construction activities

· Coordinate subcontractors, artisans, and general labour teams.

· Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

· Allocate tasks and monitor productivity

· Enforce compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations

· Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.

· Ensure proper use of PPE on site.

· Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.

· Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with SANS standards and project specifications.

· Identify and rectify defects promptly.

· Liaise with engineers and inspectors regarding quality issues.

· Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.

· Check deliveries against orders and specifications.

· Ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.

· Maintain daily site diaries and progress reports.

· Record labour attendance and timesheets.

· Provide regular progress updates to Site/Project Manager.

· Assist with planning and scheduling activities.

· Grade 12

· Trade Certificate / qualification in Construction or related field

· 5–10 years’ construction experience.

· Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory/foreman role.

· Experience in commercial and industrial projects

· Valid drivers license
