Accounts & Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts & Procurement Specialist to support a manufacturing environment by managing accounts payable processes and the procurement of indirect operating supplies and services
. This role plays a key part in cost control, supplier management, and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Acounts Payable
  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions

  • Ensure accurate and timeous processing of supplier invoices and payments

  • Perform vendor reconciliations to statements

  • Manage indirect GR/IR and one-time payments

  • Maintain accurate financial records related to purchases

Procurement & Sourcing
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in line with procurement policy

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with vendors

  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  • Maintain procurement trackers and vendor documentation

  • Update vendor information and changes on internal systems (e.g. Service Now)

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timeous goods receipt

Inventory & Logistics
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or delays

  • Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and internal teams

  • Resolve delivery or fulfillment issues efficiently

Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with financial and procurement policies

  • Assist with procurement-related budgeting and forecasting

  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate documentation

Key Skills & Experience
  • Experience in accounts payable and procurement within a structured environment

  • Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Solid understanding of supply chain and procurement processes

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical ability

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in SAP / S4 or similar ERP systems
