Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as a

    B.Com or Marketing degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in industries such as insurance, credit, loans, bill payments, fintech, tech products, or banking.
  • A strong understanding of transactional banking products and the ability to generate revenue from them.
  • Experience in the payments sector is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a debit/credit card product environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with the National Payments Systems.
  • Experience in stock forecasting/management for tech products within financial services is advantageous.
  • Proficient in product management, including financials, business case development, project management, and analysis.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or G-Suite, with a focus on Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partners, stakeholders, and relationships effectively.
  • Strong financial reporting, business case drafting, and numerical analysis skills.
  • Competencies:

    Attention to detail, reliability, planning, support creation, situational awareness, drive, adaptability, and stress resilience.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve financial targets for the fiscal year.
  • Develop business cases to enhance the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all processes and products adhere to regulations.
  • Negotiate agreements and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Work closely with the Legal team on new and existing contracts.
  • Partner with the Marketing department to create impactful campaigns.
  • Lead project management efforts, ensuring all projects are delivered within agreed timelines and in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time.
  • Continuously negotiate and secure new products and services with partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement and growth within the product portfolio.
