Introduction
As Economic Development (ED) Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the company's operational assets in relation to socio-economic and enterprise development, quarterly ED reporting as well as the annual ED audit and support with BBBEE verification processes.
Duties & Responsibilities- Facilitate all project administration, preparation of engagements, and SED-related activities
- Support the Quarterly ED reporting process
- Process and manage beneficiary and service provider payments and ensure project budget sheets are updated before payments are made and that invoices are aligned with milestones in service provider service level agreements
- Provide input into and actively support the management of the Socio‑Economic Development budget, plan, track, analyse and ensure compliance with budgets
- Support the preparation of ED quarterly reports for submission to IPPO
- Use ED reporting software (Trimax) to record and keep records of monthly Project Company and contractor ED reports
- Support annual ED audit and BBBEE verification processes
- Ensure EnD and SED service providers submit monthly or quarterly progress reports and all evidence in relation to SED and EnD projects
- Maintain records of the Project/Program Impact measurement results for inclusion in Social and Ethics Committee reports
- Keep records of SED and EnD service level agreements ensuring these are uploaded on Sharepoint
Minimum Education al
Qualifications:
- Appropriate post-school training NQF level 5 or 6.
Minimum Previous
Experience:
- Knowledge of socio-economic and regulatory contexts in South Africa, with an appreciation of challenges and opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong document management and administration ability
- Good reporting and writing skills.
Other
Skills:
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work alone (and with others), demonstrating initiative and self-driven learning.
- Project management/highly organized approach to task management; in other words, follow a results‑oriented method of working
