Position Overview An established accounting firm based in Robertson, Western Cape is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily financial administration and bookkeeping functions while ensuring accurate record-keeping and financial processing. This role is ideal for someone with practical bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a professional accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of client financial records
  • Support the preparation of financial statements where required
  • Maintain organised financial documentation and filing systems
  • Liaise with clients regarding financial information and documentation
  • Assist with general financial administration duties within the practice
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant bookkeeping or financial administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Advantageous Experience
  • Experience with debtors and creditors management
  • Exposure to financial statements preparation
  • Previous experience working in an accounting firm or financial services environment
