Accounts Payable Clerk

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk, on behalf of a client in the hospitality industry. They are seeking a highly seasoned and autonomous candidate to manage and clear a significant backlog in a fast-turnaround environment. This role is based in office in Cape Town CBD

Key Responsibilities;

• Accounts Payable Backlog Clearance:
  Clear the significant year-end backlog of accounts payable as a top priority.
• Invoice Processing:
  Accurately process invoices using Dext.
• Payment Reconciliation:
  Reconcile payments within Xero.
• Creditor Management:
  Perform bank reconciliations specifically for creditors.
• Expense Tracking:
  Handle expense tracking as needed.
• Focus exclusively on the Creditors/Accounts Payable (AP) function

• Experience - Must be a seasoned candidate with proven experience in high-volume Accounts Payable and bookkeeping.
• Tech Literacy - Familiarity with accounting and financial platforms, specifically Xero, Dext, and Pay Space is preferred.
