Reconciliation Clerk

We are looking to recruit a Reconciliation Clerk (Finance) to work within the Accounts Payable department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Supervisor (Finance).

• To reconcile accounts on a monthly basis using SAP and Excel.
• To liaise with suppliers, stores, internal stakeholders and management.
• To minimize losses/risk to the company.
• To alert the business to any irregularities.
• To complete daily filing of accounts and other administrative related issues.
• To pay the account(s) according to the due dates.
• Preparation of documentation to provide support for audit purposes
• Completing User Acceptance Testing of any testing to projects directly impacting the area
• Resolution of queries within KPA deadlines
• Completion of all weekly and monthly reports

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
• Matric level accountancy
• Relevant tertiary qualification such as
  
  B.Com, Btech or certificate in advanced Bookkeeping (an advantage)
• Strong PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar environment

• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to liaise with and communicate at all levels
• Ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines
• High work standards
• Ability to follow rules and procedures
