This hybrid position in Cape Town offers an opportunity for candidates across all major cities and requires the successful candidate to form an important part of the diversely talented, highly experienced team and work closely with our clients, nationally and internationally, upholding the firm’s values and ethos.

Responsibilities

· Uphold the Client’s compliance with relevant policies, auditing approaches, auditing standards, and regulations, whilst proficiently identifying and managing risks

· Efficiently plan and execute audit engagements

· Ensure the team delivers timely audit work to clients and partners

· Analyze financial data, records, reports, and statements

· Maintain a deep understanding of clients' industries and sectors

· Have excellent oral and written communication skills

· Continually seek opportunities for process improvement and make a tangible impact

· Keep financial databases up-to-date, including audit findings

· Have a service-oriented approach to dealing with clients

· Conduct internal training as necessary and align with continuous professional development.

· Act as a mentor, encouraging others to embody the firm's values

Qualifications

• Be a South African citizen
• Must have CTA (BCom Accounting Honours)
• Must have BCom Accounting Degree completed for local audit applications
• ITC will be advantageous
• High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
• Team management skills
• Effective communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
