Plaza Tire Service handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Cape Girardeau Distribution Center. When not on the road, this position includes working within the warehouse to help prepare shipments. We have anopeningfor a Driver with a Class E license for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

Plaza Tire Service is willing to train the right person. The most successful candidates possess the following qualifications, which are expected of applicants.

• Valid driver’s license with Class E endorsement
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical
• Reliable transportation
• Approved driving record
• Ability to drive a vehicle with manual (standard) transmission
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's

The Driver will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The Driver must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
