Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
Pay: $16.42-$18.82/hour
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (40 hrs/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Some variation based on program needs.

About the Role
The CoNEXTions Street Outreach Program supports youth ages 12-21 who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, abuse, trafficking, or exploitation. Outreach Specialists meet youth where they are—in the community, on the street, or in our drop-in center—offering safety, resources, and ongoing support.
The work is grounded in trauma-informed care and emphasizes trust, collaboration, and empowerment.
What Youall Do- Build positive, professional relationships with youth in the community
- Conduct street outreach and identify youth who may need support
- Provide basic-needs items, information, and a safe point of contact
- Help youth with life skills, housing, education, employment support, and other services
- Complete assessments, documentation, case plans, and progress notes
- Support drop-in center services and group activities
- Provide transportation for clients as needed (agency or personal vehicle)
- Collaborate with internal programs and community partners
- Participate in required training and meetings
- Identify individuals who may benefit from other agency services or community services and make appropriate referrals to assist individuals in accessing those services
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED/HSE
- At least one year of experience with at-risk youth or individuals facing homelessness preferred
- Valid driver?s license (MO Class E or IL Class
D), auto insurance, and acceptable driving record - Reliable personal transportation
