Job DescriptionCreate an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Encourage team members to deliver excellent customer service. Must be able to oversee the total store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Store Managers in Training. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities- Work in all areas of our stores including cashiering, stocking, general maintenance, and cleaning.
- Assist store management and team members in achieving a favorable customer shopping experience.
- Assist in leading teams in planning, implementing, and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
- Identify opportunities in the store, develop solutions, and create action plans for implementation.
- Drive sales with the store management team to maximize sales and profits while managing shrink.
- Help reduce turnover, increase retention, and maintain store operations.
- Assist with managing labor and supply costs to meet customer service and financial targets.
- Ensure customer returns and exchanges are handled to satisfy customers while following policies.
- Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions.
- Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety procedures.
- Report safety risks, unsafe conditions, and illegal activities.
- Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee store operations in the absence of store management.
- Be flexible to work any shift, including opening or closing the store.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and manual dexterity.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Dependability and integrity in work record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective communication and reading skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
