Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nursing care plans for cardiac stepdown patients.
• Administer medications, wound care, IV therapies including central line care, and monitor patient responses.
• Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Monitor and document changes in patient conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to evaluate and adjust care plans.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with ≥1 year experience in Cardiac Stepdown or progressive care.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to float and adapt to unit needs.
