Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Full-Time - 36 hours/week

Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm - 7:30am)

• BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000).

• Up to $370 per month directly towards loan payments (cap $20,000)
• Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation

• Experience:
  
  1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Education:
  
  Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure:
  Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure as applicable.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire. Other unit-specific certifications as required.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
