POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our team as per diem Home Infusion Nurses. In this rewarding role, you'll provide high-quality infusion therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This 1099 independent contractor position offers maximum flexibility, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while maintaining work‑life balance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer intravenous medications including IVIG, specialty biologics and other infusion treatments in patients' homes
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs before, during, and after infusion therapy
• Insert and maintain peripheral IV lines and access central venous catheters (PICC lines, ports, midlines)
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, potential side effects, and home care instructions
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols consistently
• Manage infusion equipment and supplies efficiently
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care that respects cultural diversity and individual needs
• Willing and able to travel up to 100 miles from Cape Girardeau for patient visits as needed
• Willingness to travel within up to 100 miles of Springfield to see patients

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• 1 year of ICU, ER, or Infusion Nursing Experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical requirements of home visits
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
