The Lutheran Home is hiring a Housekeeper to support our mission of providing grace and compassion in our vibrant healthcare community. Whether you have experience or are looking to start a new career path, you’ll help maintain a clean, welcoming environment – always remembering that we are working in our residents’ home. • Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room
• Clean bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
• Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
• Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
• Clean the shower room
• Pack and move personal items for room changes
• Clean and change out beds as needed
• Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
• Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use

• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Minimum age of 18
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Housekeeping or eldercare experience preferred
