Overview

$7,000 Sign on Bonus The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accurate documentation
• Monitor resident condition, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed
• Supervise and support nurse aides, providing assignments, guidance, ensuring quality and consistency of care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage resident care
• Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation goals, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Ensure resident safety, rights, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions
• Participate in ongoing staff education and training
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care and safety
• Promote a positive team culture, fostering respect and open communication

Schedule

In this full-time role, you’ll follow a consistent two-week schedule, working 7 out of 14 days with a three-day weekend every other week.

Available shifts

• Night shift: 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

Education Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
• CPR certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
