Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Consultants Clinic

Full‑Time (40 hrs per week)

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration given for comparable education, experience and successful licensure.
• Licensure:
  Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience:
  
  New or experienced LPN.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Additional
  
  Certifications:
  
  One or more of the following may be required depending on unit: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, or other unit‑specific certifications.
• Physical Requirements/Demands:
  Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant bending and stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
