Integrated Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) Van Driver/Aide
Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
Full-Time: 40 Hours/week - 8:00a - 4:30p Monday - Friday
Base Pay: $16.42/hour
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / HSE / GED Required
- Communication and Customer Service Skills are a must.
- Due to the operation of the 15 passenger vans, a Class E, or chauffeur license would be required after successful hire; we also require the employee in this position to maintain a valid CPR/FA certification (training provided by the agency)
Responsible for the routine driving of the Integrated Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders van; other transporting needs as available. Help with program needs as available while not transporting consumers.
Essential Functions- Transport eligible clients to and from ITCD.
- Report any problems with the operation of the van; service van as needed and keep accurate records.
- Maintain necessary records for the number of clients transported.
- Operate van according to DMH Licensure and CPRC Certification standards (stocked first aid kit, emergency procedures, etc.)
- Maintain Class E License and driving record according to CCC policy and procedures.
- Provide non-routine transportation services as assigned and as available.
- Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the van if needed.
- During non-transport time help and assist in assigned areas.
- Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
- Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.
- Complete all required training.
- Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.
- Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor.
- May assist with providing IMR groups, once trained and approved by ITCD program manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
